The only independent jeweller on the Place Vendôme, Lorenz Bäumer has been signing his name to creations for 30 years at 19 Place Vendôme. He gives free rein to his unbridled creativity to create, surprise and sublimate.

Born in Washington to diplomatic parents, Lorenz Bäumer's childhood was punctuated by travel. From the United States to Jordan, passing through Austria, Germany and Canada, diversity permeates the designer, whose sensitivity is nourished by a mother who is gifted with her hands and who introduced him to a certain form of craftsmanship at a very young age.

A graduate of the Ecole Centrale de Paris, his engineering training made him a pioneer in the use of new techniques and materials. He quickly established himself as one of the greatest jewellers of the 21st century.

Spotted by the greatest houses, he accepted the crazy challenge of Chanel, who asked him to develop jewellery for its Couture House. For 20 years, he was the artistic director of the jewellery department, and successfully established himself. His creations quickly became classics of the House of Chanel: Ultra, Camélia, Coco and Matelassée...
In 2007, LVMH entrusted him with the launch of Louis Vuitton jewellery. Acclaimed by his peers with his first collection "L'Ame du Voyage", he reinterpreted the codes of travel for the House of Vuitton for 10 years.
In 2010, the designer was selected by the royal family of Monaco to create the jewellery for the wedding of Princess Charlene Wittsock and Prince Albert II. He created the famous "Ecume de diamants" tiara for her.

A lover of the arts in all its forms, he has designed for numerous houses and has collaborated with many others: Hermès, Cartier, Piaget, Bréguet, Baccarat, Nathalie Blanc and Guerlain, for whom he designed the famous red G and the bee perfume bottle. He particularly likes to respond to the very special requests of his friends. In particular, he created the swords of his friends Prince Gabriel de Broglie and Chancellor Xavier Darcos.

From his eponymous House at 19 Place Vendôme, Lorenz Bäumer continues to celebrate femininity with audacity. There, he skilfully challenges the codes of jewellery, daring and constantly innovating in a style that is always avant-garde.

Each of his creations has a soul. He draws his inspiration from his passions: art and nature. The designer is above all an epicurean and a collector who likes to share his discoveries. In his salons at Place Vendôme, he will love to let you taste a whisky or a rum from his personal collection, or share his passion for old drawings, photos of the Vendôme column, comic books, or even knives...
Lorenz Bäumer is above all a genuine and generous artist whose creativity knows no bounds.
